Chapter Two - Solitude
Zoey hangs suspended in the air. She looks around, no Jack, no Logan, and no Mackenzie. Pasta Monster's scavenge the kitchen. Curious, the Pasta Monsters investigate the utensils scattered about the kitchen. Zoey watches, studying them.
The curious Pasta Monsters make their way over to the freezer door. Zoey fidgets with her restraints. The monster peering through the kitchen door holding Zoey is not pleased with her motion. It extends another pasta lasso through the door holding Zoey by the ankle. Zoey fights back, but it is useless.
At the freezer door the pasta people appear to smell the handle.
Zoey cries out, "Stop! Leave them alone!"
The Pasta Monsters turn, investigating where the sound came from. Two Pasta People rush over toward Zoey. The third remains at the freezer door. It tests the handle. Tap tap. Then with a mighty tug the Pasta Monster tears the door handle off.
"No!" Zoey screams!
The Pasta Monster spins around to face Zoey. Grasping it's new weapon. It rushes over to Zoey to join the other two Pasta Monsters. There it raises up it's door handle for all to see. They watch. Zoey watches. The Pasta Monster watching through the door lowers Zoey, swinging her closer to this threatening Monster. The Monster prepares to strikes. Zoey's eyes widen as she braces for impact. She looks around for a last minute glance at the world before it all goes dark. Clunk!

Darkness. Logan and Mackenzie shiver, huddled together.
"What do we do now?" Logan's frosted breath lingers in the air.
"I don't know!" Mackenzie's teeth chatter back.
Logan fumbles around near the door. He finds a light switch and flicks it on. They observe their new chilly prison. Mountains of frozen ice cream barrels line the walls. Every flavor you can imagine. Mackenzie's eyes light up! She rushes over to a knocked over ice cream barrel laying on its side.
"They did have it!" Mackenzie scoffs as she pries the lid off the container. Inside is a bright neon pink colored ice cream.
"Pink Lemonade! My favorite!" Mackenzie sticks her fingers into the ice cream and starts eating.
Outside of the freezer loud sounds are heard.
Logan and Mackenzie freeze. Listening. They hear a muffled scream, followed by a bang on the door and a loud pop. Logan and Mackenzie huddle together.
"What's happening?" Mackenzie questions with a shiver.
They listen, frozen in fear, for two minutes. Logan puts his ear against the freezer door to investigate.
"It's quiet? Do you think they're gone?" Logan whispers.
"Zoey would tell us right?" Mackenzie questions back.
"I'm gonna peek!"
"No! Don't what if they're there?"
Logan ignores Mackenzie's suggestion and pulls on the latch. Nothing happens. He tries again. Nothing. He looks to Mackenzie. Terrified. Mackenzie's face quickly shares the same expression.

"Ugh!" Jack moans as he looks around at the world from a worms eye view. Asphalt scrapes against Jack's back as he is dragged around behind the ice cream shop.
He looks around, packs of Pasta Monsters surround him. Far out in the distance silhouettes of Pasta Monsters drift through the trees in the nearby forest.
Jack reaches for the wheel of a nearby dumpster. He clings to it. The Pasta Monster feels his resistance. The Pasta Monster spins around with its noodlely arm and whips Jack. A welt covered with marinara sauce appears on Jack's cheek. He writhes in pain, clutching his face, releasing himself from the dumpster. The Pasta Monster continues to drag him away.
